Former Republican Primary Candidate Matthew Burril
Endorses Madison Cawthorn for Congress

(HENDERSONVILLE, NC) – Madison Cawthorn, a small businessman and motivational speakervrunning for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District Seat, today announced that he hasvreceived the endorsement of local business leader Matthew Burril. Buril recently withdrew from Republican primary and is now supporting Cawthorn. Burril is the owner of BrickStreet Equity Management.

Burril’s full statement is below:

“Madison Cawthorn is the future of the Republican party in the 11th Congressional District of NC.” I made that statement today as an introduction to my endorsement of Madison Cawthorn as the candidate that I believe will best serve our district in Washington D.C.

Madison is truly unique among the remaining candidates as he is a Conservative, Christian Millennial who has been greatly challenged and mentally prepared for the demanding task of representing our important district.

Madison will reach well beyond the other candidates and attract young patriotic conservatives and independent voters who are searching for a person who understands their desire for a clear, reasonable voice among all of the distortions of social and mainstream media.

Madison has a firm footing in the basic principles of Freedom, Faith and Family and the personal responsibility that comes with a disciplined lifestyle to lead others. He is committed to combatting the socialist virus that is prevalent among young people by expertly taking on those individuals who tout the twisted liberal message in the new social media community.

As our Congressman, Madison is assured to become a national spokesperson for the Young Republicans and an A list messenger for the Republican Party. He will be able to navigate the intense pressure of the national spotlight and secure the 11th District as a stronghold for Republicans and our American values that we live every day.

The 2020 Redistricting put all of Buncombe County into our 11th district. This means that the city of Asheville will play a dominate role in this election. We must elect Madison in November in order to give him time serve and be prepared for the enormous onslaught of Democrat campaign dollars that will pour into our district in the 2022 election. We will need a Congressman with a national presence and well-known name to face down what is certain to be a strong Democratic candidate in 2022.

It is my sincere conviction that Madison Cawthorn is the only candidate that will be able to catapult to the head of the 2020 Congressional Freshman class and be able to defend this district in future elections.

Madison Cawthorn is the future of the Republican Party of Western North Carolina.

Matthew Burril
